THE APPOINTED PERSON BOOKLET

This booklet is designed to assist in reminding the APPOINTED PERSON about his or her duties and also to complement any basic first aid training.

Some of the texts featured in this booklet are extracts from FIRST AID EXPLAINED. This booklet is NOT designed as a fully comprehensive manual for a full four-day First Aid at Work course, but is ideal for a 4-hour or one-day courses.

If you have been ‘Appointed’ in your place of work to take charge in an emergency and look after the first aid kit and accident book, then this booklet is a MUST to keep close at hand whilst at work. The reader will find this to be an excellent handout to complement an EMERGENCY first aid course.
